A new addition to our surgical team!!!
Hôpital Vétérinaire de l’Est is proud to welcome Dr. Luc Léger , surgical specialist, on our team of veterinarians.
This man of great experience, will care for your pets that are presented for emergency surgery, as well as those needing orthopedic surgery. Dr. Léger graduated from the Faculty of Veterinarian Medecine in 1977. He then pursued his studies in small animal surgery at Guelph University in Ontario, which he completed with success in 1980. This pioneer was the first small animal surgical specialist to be established in the region of Montreal. In 1985, Dr. Léger founded, in partnership, the Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive- Sud, the first referral center in the metropolitan area. In 1993, Dr. Léger was one of the co-founders of the Centre DMV, the largest emergency and referral center in Quebec at that time. In 1998, Dr. Léger founded his own private practice, the Polyclinique Vétérinaire, situated in the heart of Montreal.
It is, with great enthousiasm, that he joins our team, offering a full surgical service in small animal surgery.

This imaging equipment completes the imaging by CT scan. It offers images of the brain, spinal cord and joints that are beyond compare.
